Gallerion Collection Open at New Location – Riva 12

We are pleased to announce that as of today, August 25, 2025, the Gallerion Maritime Collection is open to visitors at its new location in the former “Arena Trikotaža” building, at Riva 12, Pula.

Over the past two years, the collection was housed at the San Giovanni Battery and offers a rich insight into the maritime heritage of the eastern Adriatic. It features models of 19th-century sailing ships and major vessels of the Austro-Hungarian Navy, military uniforms and caps from the Adriatic region, artifacts collected during travels to distant countries, an exhibition dedicated to the sinking of the ship Baron Gautsch, as well as various weapons and items related to the First and Second World Wars.

In the coming period, the exhibition will continue to develop and gradually take shape as the Naval Museum Pula. Visitors will have the opportunity to follow the unique transformation of the space, from its original state to the creation of permanent and temporary museum displays, across an area of 3,000 m².

The Gallerion Maritime Collection is open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the last entry at 5:00 PM.
