On Monday, 10 August, Aquarium Pula welcomed a television crew from TV Koper - Capodistria, part of RTV Slovenia’s Regional Centre Koper - Capodistria, to film a report about our work.
The report focused on our new tropical coral reef exhibit and Aquarium Pula’s conservation activities aimed at coral preservation, including the breeding of red coral (Corallium rubrum), a Mediterranean endemic species classified as endangered by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
The television crew also filmed our Sea Turtle Rescue Centre and Noble Pen Shell Sanctuary.
The TV Koper - Capodistria team was particularly impressed by our progress and the many new developments since their last visit. On this occasion, they also visited our new “Battle of Lissa” exhibition at the Gallerion maritime collection, presented to mark the 160th anniversary of this famous naval battle. A separate report on the exhibition will be prepared in the future.
