We are deeply honored that the Director of the Aquarium, Dr. Milena Mičić, was invited by the organizers to deliver a lecture as part of the session “Biotechnology Linkage: Danube-Alps-Adriatic” (covering Austria, Northern Italy, Hungary, Slovenia, and Croatia) at the European Summit of Industrial Biotechnology (ESIB) in Graz.
Graz and Barcelona are currently the fastest-growing biotechnology hubs in Europe, and participating in this event represents an exceptional opportunity for our Aquarium—not only to exchange knowledge and gain insights into the latest biotechnological innovations but also to network with leading experts and institutions. The conference brought together over 500 participants from around the world, including representatives from science, industry, and politics, facilitating connections with potential partners and entry into new projects that could significantly enhance the development of our biotechnological capacities.
Interestingly, Graz is home to 100,000 students.
