Today, September 19, we released eight loggerhead turtles, Queen, Michelangelo, Havajka, Anica, Denči, Star, Blue Gem, and Lorenzo, back into the sea from our Wildlife Rescue Centre. The turtles range in age from one to about fifteen years.

We extend our gratitude to the many visitors who joined us for the release and helped raise awareness about the importance of sea turtles for the marine ecosystem.

Currently, four very young loggerhead turtles, Zoe, Raul, Marlin, and Frida, remain in recovery at our Rescue Centre.
