The loggerhead sea turtle "Roza" was transferred to Brijuni National Park today, where she will continue his rehabilitation in the summer outdoor pool. The rehabilitation pool of NP Brijuni is 7 m long, 15 m wide, and 4 m deep, and it is precisely this large pool that is adequate for turtles that have impaired buoyancy.
Roza arrived at our Convalescent Center on June 5, 2023. with an inverted scrotum (cloacal prolapse) and impaired buoyancy. After 2 weeks, the cloaca retracted on its own since it was not difficult to twist, but the buoyancy disorder remained, and we hope that it will be managed to be regulated in NP Brijuni.
