Rocky Habitats

The rocky seabed, an area constantly covered by the sea, spreads from the intertidal zone to up to 30 m of depth. Many fishes and marine invertebrates inhabit this area. The best-known representatives in our exhibit are the scorpionfish, the European lobster, the common octopus, the musky octopus, as well as the ornate wrasse, the grouper, the painted comber, the common two-banded sea bream and the sheephead bream.
