Birthday parties

Children's birthday parties have been held in „Aquarium Pula“ since 2001. During the party, children are becoming acquainted with the sea world through fun and games. The parties are held in a tidy room decorated with baloons, and are three hours long. The children are being supervised by the students of the preschool and teacher's faculty of the Pula University. The price of the party includes several kinds of sandwiches and juices, snacks, and a chocolate or vanilla birthday cake.

Usual times* for birthday parties are:

• from 10.00 to 13.00 hours
• from 14.00 to 17.00 hours
• from 17.00 to 20.00 hours

*Times for birthday parties will depend upon the season and are subject to change.

For children under the age of three we offer "mini-birthday parties", which last 1:30 hours. For these birthday parties all the other features are the same, ie., baloons, sandwiches, and drinks, while the games are adjusted to the age of the child.

Price of the birthday parties:

• 10 to 15 children: 900,00 kn
• 15 to 20 children: 1000,00 kn
• 20 to 25 children: 1100,00 kn
• 25 to 30 children: 1200,00 kn
• „mini-birthday party“ : 500,00 kn

DETAILS REGARDING BIRTHDAY PARTIES
In order to enable birthday parties to go without any problems and in a relaxed manner, we have decided upon a few rules:

1. Children under the age of 3 are only allowed to participate in the birthday parties if accompanied by at least one parent.
2. Children with high fever should not play with other children.
3. We ask the parents of the birthday child to informs us of any special facts about every child on the birthday party, such as allergies, heart conditions, asthma, problem behaviour, and anything else that might interfere with the birthday party.

Children's sea camp

The children's camp is intended primarily for school and preschool children between ages 5 and 14, who are fond of the sea and marine sciences. Through stories,fun workshops, and games featuring maritime themes, the children will discover the basics of biology, ecology, physics, and chemistry of the sea, and will develop consciousness about environment protection. The camps are held during five different times, starting with the last week of June until the end of July. The duration of the camp is five work days of eight hours each.

During camps, the children will gather biological materials from the shore as they swim and play. All of the gathered biological materials from the sea will be processed and examined with the supervision by the aquarium experts. One of the days they are discovering the basics of fishermanship and oceanography as they sail on our ship. The children are led through the camp by the students of the preschool and teachers' faculty of the Pula University. The camp program is being adjusted daily to weather conditions and desires of the group.

The price of camp is 600,00 kn* for one work week.
*In case of the price being subsidized by cities and counties, the price of camp will be lower.
